After School Club

Ankerville House Nursery and Ankerville Alness provide a service of before and after school care for children from 5  years during term time and a holiday club during school holidays.

You do not need to have a child attending the nursery to access this facility.

The nursery opens at 8am allowing children to access the resources before they are accompanied to school by a member of staff.

After school care begins at 2.30pm, where a member of staff will collect the children from school. On arrival at Ankerville the children will be provided with a healthy snack at a charge of 50 pence. In this afternoon session, until close of the nursery at 5.30pm, the children are free to access all resources such as: ICT equipment, outdoor play area, board games, craft & drawing materials and a soft play games room. The staff will follow the children’s interests and support them with their chosen activity each day.

Planning for the After School Club includes working closely with the children in incorporating their ideas and interests, and we also welcome parent feedback and ideas through our suggestion board.

We currently collect children from the following schools
Knockbreck Primary School, Tain
Craighill Primary School, Tain

Bridgend, Alness

“My twin boys have been at Ankerville Nursery since they were 6 months old. They are now 7 and go before and after school. They are looked after and cared for and have learned so much. They both love the nursery and the staff, there is nowhere else I’d rather they were.”
D Irvine, parent
