Children born between 1st March 2015  and 28th February 2017 are entitled to a funded Early Learning and Childcare place.

Enrolment week is 25th February - 1 March 2019 although we do enrol all year round.

January
Chinese New Year – We celebrate by tasting Chinese food
Playing in the snow – We put on your wellies and woollies and head out into the garden for some fun in the snow.
Safe Strong and Free – We learn about keeping ourselves safe strong and free
Gym sessions start at the local primary school
February
Dental Health Month  - A visit from the Dentist and tips on effective tooth cleaning
Valentines Day – We make cards and special treats for our valentine
Share a session – Our Mums and Dads are invited into nursery to see what we do
March
Spring  - We plant our spring bulbs and tend to our garden
Shrove Tuesday – We make yummy pancakes
St Patrick’s Day – We learn about Irish Traditions
The local farmer brings in a lamb for us to see and feed
April

We Paint our eggs and go on an Easter egg hunt
We visit the Fire Station and meet the Firemen and women
May
We go for walks to the park and have our snack outside in the garden
We visit the Ambulance station and see inside and ambulance
June
Graduation Day – We say farewell to our pre-schoolers in our Graduation ceremony
Nursery Trip – We go on a trip to a local place of interest
July
School holidays – We re-enact our favourite books
We take the Train to Ankerville Nursery Alness
August
We welcome the new children into nursery and play in the garden
September
We collect autumn leaves and make pictures with them
Grandparents Day – we show our Grandparents around our nursery
October
Halloween – we have a Halloween party and make Halloween cookies
November
We remember remember the 5th November
St. Andrews Day – we dress up in Tartan and have a celidh
December
We celebrate Christmas with a nativity play
We visit the Old People’s home to sing carols for them
Christmas party with a visit from Santa
