We have been using Ankerville for 5 years and have had children in the baby room, the 3-5s and the after-school group. Across all of these groups we have found the staff to be caring, kind, thoughtful and extremely encouraging not just to our children but also to us as parents. The environment is always very homely, safe and welcoming. The staff take a genuine interest in what makes our children tick. They are very quick to encourage their strengths and very gentle in helping them develop their weaknesses. There is always a lot of fun and all of our children have not only enjoyed their time but also thrived through the care and support they have received. The staff are also excellent at communicating with parents what their child/ren have been doing and any concerns that there may be.

All 3 of our children have attended Ankerville and we have found the support and pre-school education to be above and beyond our expectations. We would have no hesitation in recommending Ankerville Nursery to any parent looking for placement for their child.

Both our children have attended Ankerville House Nursery and have absolutely loved it. The nursery is very homely and the staff are always so welcoming and nurturing and have formed strong relationships with each of them. They love the variety of exciting activities on offer both inside and outside in the fantastic new garden area and enjoy regular trips to the local woods and parks. It’s lovely to see what they have been learning through the Learning Journals and the staff are great at keeping us up-to-date with any notes or events. I would highly recommend Ankerville House Nursery, our children have grown in confidence, formed lovely friendships and the staff have prepared them well for going to school.

Having had the experience of the baby unit and Ankerville house all I can say is life at Ankerville is 1st class. Communication with staff is great, both my children have thrived which is down to all the experiences they are given within the nursery setting. I have no worries when wee one is there as I know they are in the best hands.

When it comes to childcare, I think you would be very hard pushed to find better than Ankerville. My 3 girls have all attended over the last 15 years, from Baby Unit to Nursery and now After School Club. The staff are amazing, both friendly and caring, and leave you with a sense of complete reassurance that your children are in safe hands. My husband and I were delighted to find a nursery with such a warm, friendly and nurturing atmosphere when we moved to the Highlands. The staff know each and every little personality in their care and infuse the children with their love of learning. My children wake up excited that it’s a weekday and that they get to go to Ankerville.

I have put both my girls through Ankerville Nursery Alness, starting at 7 months, enabling me to return to work. Nothing can prepare you for the challenges of being a Mum, holding down employment and most importantly of all, making sure your children are happy. I can safely say that the staff at Ankerville have been a large part of my children flourishing, always being stimulated and developing beautifully. When it comes to childcare, the most important element to me is Trust. There has never been a moment where I don’t trust the staff entirely, and frankly our family would not have been able to have kept juggling everything, without the support of the Nursery. I would recommend Ankerville to anyone as a happy and safe place for your children to be.

Both of our girls have gone to Ankerville Alness since about 9 months old. Every single member of staff we have had contact with has been excellent. Carol and her management team are approachable and will bend over backwards to help. This attitude filters down through the rest of the staff. My girls love their time at nursery which is such a comfort to a parent. We get lovely updates about what they are up to using an online portal and WhatsApp, perfect for us. I know being at nursery, and in particular Ankerville, has been brilliant for our girls’ development. We notice them coming on leaps and bounds week on week. I am so happy we decided to send our girls to Ankerville, and keep our 3 year old there for her funded hours. They are happy, so we are happy.
